A grduate from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi, a law graduate and a post graduate form Kanpur University, Mr. Jagendra Swaroopji is a man of illustrious academic career. As a brilliant student, he bagged best student award and Chancellor’s Gold Medal at Kanpur University.
Mr. Swaroop is an MLC in UP and has been a leading lawyer and legal advisor to a number of prestigious institutions,i.e. IIT Kanpur and others. The very fact that he is an elected member of legislative Council of Uttar Pradesh since 1980, speaks volumes of his persona, his character, integrity and, the love and respect, he commands in the society. A philanthropic to the core, he was decorated with “Citizens Award” by the President of india, for his relentless services to the society. In addition to holding the position of president UP Cricket Association for several years, he is associated with various social and cultural organizations.
